At our May meeting we had our usual yummie spread of food. Thanks to Janis for hosting and to everyone that brought a dish. There was plenty of time to catchup with sisters that we haven't seen in a while and we even had a new alumnae join us for the night. She found our chapter through the website (hooray!). We hope to see more of her in the fall.

We decided to have our officer installation at our first meeting in the fall after we voted on the new slate. Mary decided to step into the president position for the McHenry Chapter and out of president for our chapter. We still twisted her arm to keep her as VP of membership though. I agreed to serving as president for our chapter. I will continue to maintain the website with this new position.

Alpha Phi had their initiation and instillation as a colony the weekend after our meeting and we agreed to send them a silver platter engraved with our chapter recognizing their initiation. Evie was attending the brunch and said that she would take care of getting the platter.

The Panhellenic dinner was the day after our meeting. Mary, Janis, Teresa, Carol, Meg Ziegler (my mom) and I all enjoyed a lovely dinner. Mary even won a basket! It was a very special honor for me to receive the outstanding alumnae award this year. Thank you all so much and thank you for the dinner as well.

Our officer meeting will be on June 7th at my home 7:00pm. If you have any ideas for activities or would like to host a meeting please email us.
